In this section we are going to discuss Deep level of Nadi pariksha or Prakruti level .
4. DEEP LEVEL – PRAKRUTI LEVEL
This can be reached by going to Deep portion of pulse, percepting the pulsation applying maximum pressure . This level carries the information about PRAKRUTI.
PRAKRUTI of an individual can be understood at this level.
HOW TO FEEL ?
• Step 1
First the entire three finger are pushed till the pulsation stop.
• Step 2.
After completing first step now, release the pressure completely.
• Step 3.
After completing 2nd step , place finger on superficial level [ like 1st level ]. Read the level like superficial level .
DOSHA RELATION WITH FINGER
IMPORTANCE OF THIS LEVEL
During Examination we are getting idea about Disturbance of Dosha level by comparing 1st [ Superficial level – present state of Dosha ] with 4th [ Deep level – Prakruti level ] . We can plan our line of treatment to match this level during treatment .
Now we take overlook on all levels shortly which we have discussed uptill now -
Right hand - for Male whereas vaidyas used Left hand to read.
Left hand – for Female wheras vaidyas used Right hand to read.
1. Level 1- Superficial level – Present state of dosha
This can be reached by going to most superficial portion of pulse , percepting the pulsation applying minimum pressure . This level carries the information about dosha.
2. Level 2 –Subdosha level – Subtypes of Dosha
Slowly push one finger at a time below and wait for few second , then note on which part of fingertip pulsation is felt.
3. Level 3 – Dhatu level
First the entire three finger are pushed till the pulsation stop, release the pressure only up to that level when you start to feel pulsation first.
4. Level 4 – Deep level – Prakruti level .
